WHY CAN ONLY LICENSED NURSES ATTEND CLASS?
It is important that the Training Academy for Medical Cannabis maintains a high standard . We want you to trust us with an approved curriculum. Our curriculum is written for nurses looking to get into the cannabis industry and guide patients on their cannabis journey to better health. The training course was created by a licensed medical professional for licensed nurses. The course is all-inclusive and will provide the nurse with everything that they need to become a Medical Cannabis Nurse.
IS THE MEDICAL CANNABIS NURSE CERTIFICATE PROGRAM TAUGHT BY THE TRAINING ACADEMY FOR MEDICAL CANNABIS RECOGNIZED?
This activity has been submitted to the American Holistic Nurses Association for approval to award contact hours. The American Holistic Nurses Association is accredited as an approver of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

WHAT IS A MEDICAL CANNABIS NURSE?
A Medical Cannabis nurse from the Training Academy for Medical Cannabis is a licensed medical professional that educates his/her community about how to safely and effectively use cannabis for medicinal purposes. They working closely with their patients about the different strains of cannabis, safe cannabis dosages, and the best route of delivery for consumption of cannabis.
WHO CAN ATTEND CLASSES?
The Training Academy for Medical Cannabis only provides education to licensed nurses who want to specialize in medical cannabis. We will do a record check of your nursing license
WHAT IS REQUIRED TO RECEIVE YOUR MEDICAL CANNABIS NURSE CERTIFICATE?
It is required that you attend a full day in person class that is interactive. A licensed medical professional teaches the class by the Training Academy for Medical Cannabis. After successful completion of the class hours, tests, and case studies, you will receive your Medical Cannabis Nurse Certificate.
HOW MUCH DOES THE MEDICAL CANNABIS NURSE CERTIFICATE PROGRAM COST?
The course costs $975 per student.
IS THIS LEGAL?
Yes. Medical Cannabis Nurses do not sell cannabis. They provide education and consultation to consumers.
THE SCOPE AND STANDARD SUMMARY FOR A CANNABIS NURSE (ACNA):
The cannabis nurse works in a variety of settings with the patient and his or her support systems to facilitate health, healing, and well-being through both the patient’s safe and effective use of cannabis and/or cannabinoid medicines and through the upregulation of the endocannabinoid system toward optimal functioning. The cannabis nurse is educated on the use of cannabis as medicine and current cannabis scientific findings, therefore, the cannabis nurse is able to educate and coach the patient, his or her caregivers or support systems, and other healthcare providers about the most effective and safe uses of cannabis for specific health, healing, and illness concerns.
